Developing Computer Simulations of Hearts

In this interview by Hopkins Medicine, Dr. Trayanova discusses her background leading up to a career in science, a brief overview of her research, and how this work translates into the clinic. Dr. Trayanova was the first female faculty member at the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins to be named the inaugural Murray B. Sachs Professor of Biomedical Engineering - in this interview she also discusses the importance of mentoring women in engineering and science.
