William Franceschi
Undergraduate Student
Willie is a second year undergraduate studying Biomedical Engineering. In the fall of 2016, he was awarded the Provost's Undergraduate Research Award for his project proposal: Investigating the Pro-Arrhythmic Interaction Between Fibrosis Burden and Ablation Lesions in Patients with Persistent Atrial Fibrillation. He works closely with Adityo Prakosa, Sohail Zahid, Joseph Yu on a variety of projects centered around using computational cardiac models to model atrial and ventricular arrhythmia. In his free time, he enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and demolishing Sohail Zahid in disc golf.
