Teya Bergamaschi
Data Assistant
Teya is a Data Assistant working in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Alliance for Cardiovascular Diagnostic and Treatment Innovation (ADVANCE) Institute at Johns Hopkins University. Before joining the lab full-time, she graduated from Johns Hopkins University with an M.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Mathematics and Statistics. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research in developing machine learning prediction models for use in the ICU and physical therapy devices for children with movement disorders. Teya currently assists the atrial modeling team as part of an FDA-approved clinical trial at JHU. Her research in the lab focuses on the development of disease-specific action potential models from clinical data.
